First Look
Pavla has developed several interesting details and corrections for the HobbyBoss 1/72 MiG-15 kits. This release completely transforms the MiG-15UTI's cockpit.
Where the HobbyBoss kit provides a simple cockpit, Pavla transforms the spartan kit into a detailed masterpiece that can be viewed through the open or closed canopies.
The set comes with a replacement cockpit tub that nicely captures the side console layouts of these early MiGs. The ejection seats are provided as well as replacement instrument panels, control sticks, and the reinforcement bow between the cockpits. What's more, there is a vacuformed canopy provided which will give you a thinner and clearer view into the cockpit, or you can separate the canopies and pose the aircraft opened up and have the canopies closer to scale thickness.
