First Look
GreenStrawberry is an interesting aftermarket company based in the Czech Republic that produces primarily detail sets for science fiction kits as well as kits of their own. This release is designed for the Polar Lights 1/350 USS Enterprise Refit or NCC-1701A kit and features some impressive details. If you thought the stock kit looked good out of the box, this set takes that kit to a completely new level.
This set is rendered on two sheets of photo-etched brass and provide some fine details for the exterior and interior of the kit. The instructions are very nicely done as they are color-printed to show what modifications are required for kit parts, what preparations are required for each photo-etched part, and where each part is to be placed. Among the details included in this set:
- Structural detals and park benches for the arboretum
- Catwalks and structural details for the interior of the shuttle bay
- Hatchs and airlock doors
- Detailed operations center for rear of shuttle bay
- Cargo pods/boxes
- Overlays for impulse engines
- Details for work modules
This set will add some beautiful details to your next large Enterprise build!
