Fisher Model and Pattern has been expanding its range of kits and aftermarket detail sets with many of the recent releases designed to enhance the details of a variety of 1/32 scale kits. This set provides a pair of LAU-10 four-shot rocket pods complete with the portruding warheads and rocket ends with the fins folded. The casting is up to Fisher Models usual excellent standards and only required painting and some stenciles to be ready for mounting on your next project.

What interests me about the set is its timeliness - with the recent release of the Zoukei-Mura A-1H Skyraider, these pods would be ideal under the wings of the Spad. Likewise the recent Trumpeter (or venerable Hasegawa) 1/32 A-4E/F Skyhawk or even under the Fisher Model 1/32 F9F-8T/TF-9J as configured as a Forward Air Controller. The LAU-10 is still in use today on aircraft like the (Trumpeter 1/32) AV-8B Harrier and (Academy 1/32) F/A-18 Hornet.

My sincere thanks to Fisher Model and Pattern for this review sample!
