F-4C/D/E/F/G Ejection Seats

Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details.Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwisebland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch ortwo with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.

Many AMS modelers will collect the relevant Eduard photo-etch sets for a given project, butthey'll also go out and gather specific resin enhancements as well. Eduard has stepped up witha new product line to complement their photo-etched detail series - Brassin.

Brassin is a play on words with Brass and Resin, and in many sets in this series, the resindetails also include a set of color photo-etch as well.

In this release, Eduard has produced the most detailed F-4 ejection seat I've ever seen. Whilethis set is supposed to be for any of the USAF F-4 Phantom II kits from Hasegawa, these seatsare complete model kits of their own right.

Each resin seat is beautifully cast without all of the details usually cast onto other aftermarketseats. Instead, each of those details are provided as photo-etched parts. While some of theactuating cylinders and rail frame members are separately cast in resin, most of the smallerdetails are rendered as color-printed photo-etch so you'll have some eye-catching detail therealone. Add to that the disctinctive seatbelts and riser attachments that are also color printed,as are the ejection handle and various other placards and details, and you have the most detailedMartin Baker H7 seats ever produced in scale. You'll notice that the hard-pack parachute packsthat mount under the headrests are also separately molded.

This set comes with two seats, two hard packs, two runs of small details, and two completesets of color photo-etch - one for each seat.

You should be able to find this detail set at your local hobby retailer or one of the manyonline hobby shops. Trust me, this is worth looking for!

Recommended for experienced modelers!
