First Look
Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.
This set is designed to fit the Academy 1/48 F-4C Phantom II kit. This set features color-printed, self-adhesive cockpit details including instrument panels and side consoles, all ready to be pressed into place. The second fret contains non-adhesive parts for other cockpit details including frame and bow details for the canopies and windcreen, rudder pedals, and internal frames.
These photo-etch details provide a nice subtle additional level of detail while the color photo-etch provide some easy to use, eye-popping details in the cockpit.
My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
