First Look

Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.

MiG-21UM Ladder

In this release, Eduard has produced a nice accessory for the Trumpeter 1/48 MiG-21UM Mongol B kit. This set provides the distinctive Soviet-era MiG-21 trainer boarding ladder ready for quick assembly, a coat of safety color paint, and set up next you your MiG-21UM. The ladder and back stand are both folded in half to provide a thicker structure which will make it more realistic to the eye as well as more tolerant to handling.

This is another great set for your next Mongol display project and will make any AMS modeler happy!

Recommended for experienced modelers!

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
