First Look

As you know, Eduard produces a wide range of aftermarket detail sets for aircraft, armor, and ship kits. When a new and noteworthy kit is released, Eduard will usually follow within a few months with one or more detail sets to enhance that kit. When MRC/Academy released its 1/35 MH-60S Seahawk kit, Eduard soon followed with four nice enhancement sets. These include a cockpit set, crew restraint set, interior detail set, and exterior detail set. Let's take a closer look at the interior detail set:

MH-60S Seatbelts Set

In this release, Eduard renders four sets of seatbelts/shoulder harnesses for the two pilots and two crewman. These crew restraints are color printed where even the stitching is visible (click on the image for a closer look). The instructions show the steps to overlay belt sections atop one another and parts placement on the kit seats to replicate these four-point and five-point harnesses.

This is another nice enhancement that will be easy to install on the MRC/Academy kit and help add additional fidelity to that nice kit. Using this set with the other releases from Eduard will raise the level of detail in this kit to a higher level. I've been waiting tackle the MH-60S kit but I didn't want to start without these sets!

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
