First Look
Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.
In this release, Eduard provides those details that are difficult to do in styrene and have provided a nice array of details for the exterior surfaces of the Trumpeter 1/32 Swordfish kit.
This set provides all of the hinges and inspection panels that cover the airframe. These are the sort of details you don't see in a kit but you will see all over the real aircraft. These are subtle details and when done right, won't really be noticed until you park your Swordfish next to another modelthat doesn't have the details installed.
You should be able to find this detail set at your local hobby retailer or one of the many online hobby shops. Trust me, thisis worth looking for!
My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
