First Look
Barracuda Studios produces a growing line of resin details under the BarracudaCast brand to compliment their BarracudaCals decal line. In this release, we have nicely cast radome and mounting ring for any of the Eduard 1/48 generation 2 (MiG-21PF/PFM/R) and generation 3 (MiG-21S/M/SM/MF/SMT/bis) kits.
Where the Eduard kits have you install the radome when you assemble the fuselage halves, this set allows the radome to be left off the model until you're near completion. This allows you to clean up the seam lines in the intake, use the intake openinge to hold the model while painting, and the have the extra weight of the radome for additional ballast as well.
