First Look
Barracuda Studios produces a growing line of resin details under the BarracudaCast brand to compliment their BarracudaCals decal line. This release is a correction for Revell's 1/32 Spitfire Mark IX kit. While the kit is generally a nice model out of the box, the underwing radiators are not correctly shaped/rendered and here is a set that not only corrects this error, but adds additional details to the final result.
This set is nicely cast and will require removal of the flat sections on the underside of the wing where the radiators are supposed to be and repliaced with the indented radiator sections. This set also has new radiator faces, covers, and positionable exit ramps. For a look at these parts and other options from Barracuda Studios, stop by their website at barracudacals.com.
My sincere thanks to Barracuda Studios for this review sample!
