First Look
Barracuda Studios produces a growing line of resin details under the BarracudaCast brand to compliment their BarracudaCals decal line. This release is a simple update for Revell's recent 1/32 Spitfire Mark IX kit. While the kit is generally a nice model out of the box, the cockpit lacks details inside the cockpit, notably on the sidewalls and a few other details.
This set provides a beautifully cast entry door complete with crowbar clamps and a separate crowbar to make painting easy. While this set was designed for the Revell kit, the manufacturer says that this door can be easily adapted to any 1/32 Spitfire kit from the Mk.V to the Mk.24.
