First Look
AMS Resin continues to turn out some nice aftermarket detail sets at reasonable prices. In this latest release, AMS has provided a simple update for the Trumpeter 1/32 Lightning kits.
This set is a single Martin-Baker Mk.4 ejection seat fitted to the English Electric Lightning. While all of the variants of the Lightning used the Mk.4, the earlier marks used the Mk.4BSC whilst the later marks used the Mk.4CA-2. The differences between these seats were very subtle this nice resin seat from AMS Resin captures those details nicely. Just add the overhead grab handles and the handle that goes between the legs, add a nice paint job, and your Lightning front office will really look nice!
