First Look
Yellow-Wing Decals has released their latest installment in the pre-WW2 'Yellow-Wings' range of subjects, this time covering the Boeing F4B-4 fighter. This series provides the complete markings for five different examples:
- F4B-4, BuNo 8915, VF-2, 2-F-7, Section Three Leader
- F4B-4, BuNo 9029, VF-6, 6-F-1, Squadron Commander
- F4B-4, BuNo 9026, VF-6, 6-F-10, Section Four Leader
- F4B-4, BuNo 9252, VB-2, 2-B-13, Section Five Leader
- F4B-4, BuNo 9051, VB-5, 5-B-7, Section Three Leader
This set comes complete with national markings, squadron markings, distinctive aircraft markings, section markings, and even propeller tip warnings. There are sufficient decals on this release to build all five examples!
