Yellow-Wings Decals Yellow-Wings Decals

This set provides provides all of the distinctive markings to replicate any of the 18 aircraft assigned to Bombing 2 (VB-2) or Bombing 3 (VB-3), 42 aircraft possibilities in all!

Actually, the set is designed for each of the six section leads in both squadrons. You can see in the decal image that the decal block for 2-B-4 (for example) has the white wing chevrons and fuselage band (you paint the cowl yourself), the SB2U-1 aircraft identifiers, BuNo 0748, and the US Navy identifications. Spare numbers are provided to replicate any of the non-section leaders as well. The instructions contain data tables that identified each aircraft in every section, including spares, by the bureau number. In addition, propeller tip warning markings are also included.

For an explanation of section colors and markings, go here.

These decals are printed in excellent registration and clarity.
