First Look
Worldwide Aviation Decals is a new aftermarket decal company from the Netherlands which has started off with an interesting selection of releases. In this release, we have three C-47 Skytrains in US Navy service (designated as R4Ds in that service).
The subjects in this release include:
- R4D-5, 17083, NAS Patuxent River, mid 1950s
- R4D-5, 17189, NAS Jacksonville, mid 1950s
- R4D-6R, 99189, NAS Glenview, mid 1950s
This set provides sufficient national markings and basic airframe stencils for one subject. These will work with the Italeri kit or any other 1/72 C-47/R4D kit.
