First Look

Victory Productions released a new set of marking options for Tamiya's recent Mk.IX and MkVIII kits. This set covers nine Mk.IX Spitfires from a nice cross-section of units plue two Mk.VIIIs as flown by the USAAF. As with their previous releases, the printing is well-done and you have sufficient markings for one RAF, one USAAF, and one Czech example, but if you can scrounge up roundels from outher sources, you can replicate virtually all 11 of these aircraft.

This set is very impressive and my sample is in perfect register. This is definitely a set to get your hands on and build a few of those nice Tamiya kits.
