Syh@art Decals is an interesting aftermarket decal producer from France that specializes in those special paint schemes worn by NATO aircraft for Tiger Meet, Anniversary, or special Airshow duties. Most of their decal line is produced in 1/48 and 1/72 scale with selected subjects in 1/32 scale also covered.
In this release, we have a commemorative scheme for the dissolution of EC 2/30 in 2009. This is the famous 'Normandie Nieman' squadron that was a French Air Force fighter squadron that served alongside the Soviet Air Force against Germany during World War 2 before being re-established within France. This special color scheme commemorates that history and subsequently resumed operations a few years later equipped with the Dassault Rafale.
