Syh@art Decals is an interesting aftermarket decal producer from France that specializes in those special paint schemes worn by NATO aircraft for Tiger Meet, Anniversary, or special Airshow duties. Most of their decal line is produced in 1/48 and 1/72 scale with selected subjects in 1/48 scale also covered.
In this release, we have a spectacular Mirage 2000N of EC1/4 Dauphine from the French Air Force wearing anniversary colors. This subject covers the special color scheme commemorating the disestablishment (shutdown) of EC1/4 in 2010. When you look at photos of the full-scale subject, all you can do is admire the paint scheme and wish someone would produce the decals for that scheme. Well here they are.
This one subject is reproduced with decals on three sheets. You paint the airframe with the basic dark blue scheme, use the templates in the instructions to paint the yellow areas on the wings, apply the yellow bands on the sheet followed by the yellow artwork and white pinstriping, and wrap up with the stencils and unit markings. The result is going to be very stunning indeed! Note that none of the decals need to be stacked atop one another to replicate a given piece of artwork as done by some other decal makers, even the roundels have their center dots in place in this sheet. Nice work Syh@rt!
