First Look
Syh@art Decals is an interesting aftermarket decal producer from France that specializes in those special paint schemes worn by NATO aircraft for Tiger Meet, Anniversary, or special Airshow duties. Most of their decal line is produced in 1/48 and 1/72 scale with selected subjects in 1/32 scale also covered.
In this release, we have two distinctive schemes from the Swiss Air Force. The two subjects are:
- F/A-18C, J-5017, 17 Staffel 'Falcons', Swiss AF
- F/A-18C, J-5018, 18 Staffel 'Panthers', Swiss AF
The two schemes are special squadron commander aircraft that retain their subdued camouflage while providing some eye-catching artwork.
This set is rendered on four decal sheets and there are sufficient markings in this set to render both aircraft.
If you're looking for a very distinctive set of markings for the Academy 1/32 F/A-18C kit, this is the set you've been waiting for. Definitely recommended!
