First Look

Stormo! is a comprehensive online resource for Italian Air Force subjects from World War II. With all of the information that has been compiled there, it was only natural that they produce some decals to cover some of these subjects that get overlooked by other decal companies. In this installment, the third in their 1/32 scale releases, we have seven Bf 109s that were the mounts for five Regia Aeronautica aces. This decal set comes on one large sheet and provides markings for seven aircraft:

Bf 109G Bf 109G

  • Bf 109G-6/R3, W.Nr. unknown, Nucleo Comando, II Gruppo Caccia, Villafranca, Nov 1944 as flown by Capt Giovanni Spigaglia
  • Bf 109G-10/U4/R3, W.Nr. 490266, 1a Squadriglia, I Gruppo Caccia, Lonate Pozzolo, Mar 1945 as flown by W/O Dino Forlani
  • Bf 109G-10/R3, W.Nr. 491323, 4a Squadriglia, II Gruppo Caccia, Aviano, Feb 1945 as flown by Capt Ugo Drago
  • Bf 109G-10, W.Nr. 491356, 3a Squadriglia, I Gruppo Caccia, Lonate Pozzolo, Feb 1945 as flown by Maj Adriano Visconti
  • Bf 109K-4, W.Nr. 333878, 3a Squadriglia, I Gruppo Caccia, Lonate Pozzolo, Mar 1945 as flown by Lt Gallori
  • Bf 109G-6, W.Nr. unknown, 5a Squadriglia, II Gruppo Caccia, Summer 1944 as flown by Attilio Sanson
  • Bf 109G-10, W.Nr. 490379, 5a Squadriglia, II Gruppo Caccia, Osoppo, Mar 1945 as flown by Attilio Sanson

The printing is spot on and provide for some distinctive options for your favorite 1/32 Bf 109G/K kits.
