First Look
Here is the latest release from Starfighter Decals, this time providing six colorful USAAF and USN Stearman examples in 1/72 scale. This set provides three USN and three USAAF examples. This set is designed for the Revell kit.
This decal set provides markings for the following subjects:
- PT-13D, unknown, 520, Randolph Field, 1938
- PT-27, 42-15680, 4, Thunderbird Field
- PT-17, unknown, H829
- N2S-2, 3553, 401, NAS Corpus Christi, 1943
- N2S-3, unknown, NAAS Corry Field, 1943
- N2S-3, 05369, 41, on display at the National Museum of Naval Aviation
This decal set offers some interesting alternatives for kit subjects and would be awfully nice to see in 1/48 scale for the newer Revell kit!
