First Look
Starfighter Decals has released this nice trio of F9F-2 Panthers for your Hasegawa or Hobby Boss kits. The first subject is distinctive with its extensive mission count stenciled on both sides of the nose.
This decal set provides markings for the following three subjects:
- F9F-2B, 123451, VMF-311, WL/2, 1953
- F9F-2, 127207, VMF-311, WL/2
- F9F-2, 127143, VMF-114, AE/6
This provides sufficient markings to do three aircraft (you'll use the national markings and stencils from your kit(s)). You can purchase these decals directly from Starfighter Decals on their website.
