Starfighter Decals has released this interesting pair of F-82 Twin Mustangs in 1/72 scale perfect for the Revell kit. These markings provide a a pair of interesting schemes, one for an escort fighter, the other for a nightfighter, both in very colorful paint schemes.
This decal set provides markings for two aircraft:
- F-82E, 47-297, 27 FEG, Kearney AFB, NE, 1948
- F-82F, 46-433, 2 FS, Mitchell AFB, NY, 1949
This sheet provides sufficient stencils and national markings for one aircraft. The instructions are in color and will also help identify some of the subtle color and detail variations for each of these subjects.
