First Look
Starfighter Decals has released this nice decal set for any of the Revell 1/540 USS Midway-class straight-deck kits. These markings are for the Midway-class before they received their angle decks.
This decal set provides markings for the following marking configurations:
- USS Midway CVB 41, late 1940s/early 1950s
- USS Franklin D. Roosevelt CVB 42, late 1940s/early 1950s
- USS Coral Sea CVB 43, late 1940s/early 1950s
This is a really nice update for this kit and the instructions point out other aftermarket resources which can help to further detail and tailor your subject.
