Starfighter Decals has released this interesting set of 1/48 PT-17 Kaydet decals for the Revell kit. They provide three recommended schemes which will be handy for those without good photo references. However...
As you can see, this decal release is literally a universal set. You can replicate just about any Kaydet in USAAC/USAAF service, thanks to an array of different generic ID numbers in three colors and two sizes, and five different national marking options. You can easily create four or more models out of this one decal sheet with careful planning. There are even two sets of wing walkways and two sets of early propeller tip stripes included.
It is nice to see some nice decal options for Revell's 1/48 scale PT-17 Stearman/N2S Kaydet kit. Get yourself a set and get that trainer on your bench! You can purchase these decals directly from Starfighter Decals on their website.
