Starfighter Decals has released this decal superset to recreate Air Group 5 aboard USS Yorktown at the Battle of Midway with markings provided for the entire air group.
The instructions show marking placement and differences for the following squadrons:
- VF-3 F4F-4
- VS-5 SBD-3
- VB-3 SBD-3
- Torpdeo 3 TBD-1
This set is tailored for the Trumpeter (Merit Int'l) 1/350 USS Yorktown CV 5 and not to be confused with Trumpeter's earlier 1/350 Essex-class USS Yorktown CV 10 kit.
