Starfighter Decals has released this useful decal set for modelers of contemporary carrier aviation. Here is a set of decals to render most of the VF-111 Sundowners circa 1967-68. This set recreates the markings of this squadron operating the F-8C Crusader aboard USS Intrepid.
This set provides skipper's MODEX 101, plus line aircraft 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 116, 117, and 120. You can see that this set provides the distinctive squadron and airframe markings including walkways.
If you want to really dress up the F-8s on your Gallery Models Intrepid deck, this is a great set. Starfighter is gradually rolling out markings for Vietnam-era Intrepid so you can eventually complete the air wing with highly detailed markings.
