First Look
Here's a new company that has launched with a timely, if not tragic, decal release. This set replicates the colors and markings of the Republic of Poland presidential aircraft, numbers 101 and 102. It was tragic that 101 was the aircraft that crashed in Russia back in April 2010 that took the lives of the president, first lady, and 95 other members of the government and representatives, all enroute to the site in Western Russia where Polish Army officers were massacred in World War II.
These two aircraft are Tu-154Ms which are painted overal white with bright red markings. Polish Decal Team has replicated these markings so that 101 or 102 can be represented. In addition to the bright red markings, this decal set comes complete with airframe stenciling, walkways, windows, and doors to really make this model stand out. The decals were sized to work with the Zvezda 1/144 Tu-154 kit.
According to their website, there are at least two other 1/144 decal sets coming in 1/144 to get their business underway. Check these out as the price is right and these decals are quite nice.
