First Look

Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Hurricane schemes that will definitely compliment your favorite 1/72 Hurricane kit. Two of the schemes are the same aircraft portrayed at two different events.

Hurricane Hurricane

This decal set provides markings for four aircraft:

  • Hurricane Mk.I, P3395, 1 Sqn, JX-B, as flown by F/L Arther Clowes
  • Hurricane Mk.IIc, BD983, 1 Sqn, JX-Q, as flown by S/L James MacLachlan
  • Hurricane Mk.II, G-AMAU, #41, 'Last of the Many' as flown by G/C Peter Townsend
  • Hurricane Mk.II, G-AMAU, #99, 'Last of the Many' as flown by G/C Peter Townsend

As you can see in the decal image, this set comes complete with a full set of national markings, distinctive unit markings, and a wealth of maintenance stencils. If you're looking for a colorful alternative that isn't from the mainstream Superscale/Eagle Strike/Aeromaster line-up, here is a nice way to be different!

You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals.

My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
