First Look

Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Fw 190s providing a nice cross-section of fighter groups. The four aircraft presented here are:

Fw 190 Fw 190

  • Fw 190A-4, Yellow 4, 9/JG 2, Vannes AB, France, 1943, as flown by Oblt. Siegfried Schnell
  • Fw 190F-8; Yellow 7, I/SG 4, Wenden AB, Germany, 1944
  • Fw 190A-4, Kdr/JG 101, Pau AB, France, 1944, as flown by Maj. Walter Nowotny
  • Fw 190A-3, Yellow 28, 3/EJGr West, Cazaux AB, France, 1942

As you can see in the decal images and profiles, this set provides some distinctive color schemes. This set was designed for the Tamiya Fw 190A or Revell Fw 190F kits.

You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
