First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Fokker D.VII examples to start off a new series that marks Lifelike's first entry into World War I subjects.
This decal set provides markings for four aircraft:
- Fokker D.VII (OAW), Jasta 19, as flown by its commander, Lt. W. Leusch
- Fokker D.VII (Fokker), Jasta 16b
- Fokker D.VII (OAW), Jasta 13, as flown by its commander, Lt. Franz Büchner
- Fokker D.VII (OAW), Jasta 32b(?), as flown by Lt. E. Koch
As you can see in the decal images, this set comes complete with a full set of national markings, distinctive unit markings, and some nice artwork. If you're looking for a colorful alternative that isn't from the mainstream Superscale/Eagle Strike/Aeromaster line-up, here is a nice way to be different!
If you know of some Fokker that is looking for some nice markings for their next D.VII project, this is a really nice selection of subjects to start with. You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decalsfor this review sample!
