First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have three distinctive Republic P-47D Thunderbolt examples designed for the 1/48 Tamiya kits. As usual, these decals are nicely printed and very colorful in their subject selections. This decal set provides markings for three aircraft:
- P-47D-15-RE, 42-76179, 61 FS/56 FG, HV-V, Halesworth, 1945, 'Little Chief', as flown by Lt Frank Klibbe
- P-47D-30-RA, 44-33221, CO/368 FG, A7-B, Juvincourt, 1944, 'Slick Chick', as flown by Col Frank Perego
- P-47D-30-RE, 44-20984, 347 FS/350 FG, 7C1, Pisa, 1945, 'The Reamer', as flown by Lt Jack Reams
