First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Fokker D.VII examples designed for the 1/48 Roden or Eduard kits. As usual, these decals are nicely printed and very colorful in their subject selections. This decal set provides markings for four aircraft:
- Fokker D.VII (OAW), 2035/18, Jasta 66, Norman-le-Wast Afld, May 1918, as flown by Leutnant Rudolf Windisch
- Fokker D.VII (OAW), unknown, Jasta 82, Higny-Preutin Afld, Nov 1918, as flown by Vzfw. Kark Gerster
- Fokker D.VIIF, unknown, Jasta 4, Monthussart Ferme, Jul 1918, as flown by Leutnant d R Heinrich Drekmann
- Fokker D.VIIF, unknown, Jasta 15, Chery-les-Poully Afld, Aug 1918, as flown by Leutnant Josef Veltjens
As you can see in the decal images, this set comes complete with a full set of national markings, distinctive unit markings, and basic airframe stenciling. You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
