First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Bf 109 fighters, all of which have colorful markings and some interesting history to go with each airframe. The four aircraft portrayed in this set are:
- Bf 109E-3, W.Nr. 8508, Yellow 3, 6./JG 51, Marquise, France, 1940, as flown by Fw Arthur Haase
- Bf 109F-4/R1, W.Nr. 13114, Black 1, 8./JG 54, Seibelskaya, Russia, 1942, as flown by Oblt Max-Helmut Ostermann
- Bf 109G-6/R6, Stab, II./JG 11, Jever, Germany, 1943, as flown by Maj Adolf. Dickfeld
- Bf 109G-6/U3, Stab, NAG 4, Bojari, Belarus, 1943, as flown by Hptm Friedich-Wilhelm Kahler
As you can see in the decal images and profiles, this set provides some distinctive color schemes. This set was designed for any of the applicable Hasegawa kits, Tamiya E-model kit, and Zvezda F-model kit.
You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
