First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Messerschmitt 109s that will definitely compliment any of the quarter scale kits out there on the market.
This decal set provides markings for four aircraft:
- Me 109G-6/AS, 10/JG 300, White 1, Juterbog/Germany, Nov 1944
- Me 109E-3, Adjutant/JG 26, Black A, Audembert AB/France, 1940, as flown by Oberstleutnant Hasselmann
- Me 109G-2/Trop, 1/JG 77, Commander, Comiso AB/Italy, 1942, as flown by Hauptmann Heinz Bar
- Me 109G-5/AS, W.Nr. 110064, 2/JG 11, Commander, Wunsdorf/Germany, Apr 1944, as flown by Major Gunther Specht
As you can see in the decal image, this set comes complete with a full set of national markings, distinctive unit markings, and a wealth of maintenance stencils. If you're looking for a colorful alternative that isn't from the mainstream Superscale/Eagle Strike/Aeromaster line-up, here is a nice way to be different!
You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
