First Look

Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Fokker D.VII fighters that will definitely compliment the Wingnut Wings kit.

Fokker Fokker

This decal set provides markings for four aircraft:

  • D.VIIF (Fokker), Jasta 16b, St. Marguerite airfield, 1918
  • D.VIIF (Fokker), Jasta 4, Oblt Ernst Udet, Metz airfield, 1918
  • D.VII (Alb), Jasta 23b, Lt. Josef Mueller, Epinoy airfield, 1918
  • D.VII (Alb), Jasta 18, Lt Hans Mueller, Montigny airfield, Oct 1918

As you can see in the decal images and profiles, this set provides some distinctive color schemes. If you want to dress up the Wingnut Wings kits, this is the set you've been waiting for. Note that several of the markings in this set are decals that will have to be placed on atop another to recreate the complete marking.

You can purchase these decals directly from Lifelike Decals. My sincere thanks to Lifelike Decals for this review sample!
