First Look
Alright you fans of Soviet & Russian military aviation, Linden Hill has released another nice set of markings, this time providing markings for Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is one of the many states that became separate countries after the break-up of the former Soviet Union. As you would expect, those aircraft stationed in Azerbaijan became the foundation for the country's own air force, and Linden Hill has provided the markings and full-color profiles to replicate virtually all of these eleven examples.
The eleven subjects rendered in this set include:
- Su-17M3, Bort 81, Azerbaijan AF
- Su-24MR, Bort 101, Azerbaijan AF
- Su-24MR, Bort 111, Azerbaijan AF
- MiG-29 (9-13), Bort 01, Azerbaijan AF
- MiG-29UB, Bort 20, Azerbaijan AF
- L-39, Bort 25, Azerbaijan AF
- MiG-25P, Bort 63, Azerbaijan AF
- MiG-25PDS, Bort 87, Azerbaijan AF

The instructions provide good color and paint information ro replicate these various color patterns and there are some interesting differences in color schemes as illustrated by the Su-17M3 above.
Linden Hill has produced another nice set of markings and really provide some excellent subjects from the air arm of a former Soviet Republic that hasn't found its way to many previous decal offerings. This decal set will definitely give you some great alternatives so your aircraft won't look 'out of the box'.
