By Michael Benolkin

Subject A-6E TRAM Intruder Scale 1/48
Set Number 48008 Pros Nice selection of late Intruders
Cons Nothing noted Skill Level Basic

First Look

Hi-Decal Line has done it again. Here are three distinctive A-6E TRAM Intruders to choose from late in their operational lives. The three aircraft covered in this sheet are:

Hi-Decal Line Hi-Decal Line

  • A-6E, 161667, VA-36, AJ/533, USS Theodore Roosevelt, Operation Desert Storm, 1991
  • A-6E, 157020, VA-85, AB/500, USS America, Operation Deny Flight, 1993
  • A-6E, 161681, VMA(AW)-332, EA/500, MCAS Cherry Point, 1993

The decals are nicely printed and provide sufficient stencils and markings for at least two examples.

This set is just in time for the Kinetic 1/48 A-6E Intruder and will also work as well with the Revell-Monogram kit..

Hi-Decal Line are available from many online retailers.

My sincere thanks to Hi-Decal Line for this review sample!
