First Look

Here's the latest new release from Furball Aero-Design. This set provides the three Normandy invasion schemes from RAF Lakenheath, one from each of the 48th Fighter Wing's squadrons, plus the 75th anniversary scheme from Mountain Home's 366th Fighter Wing. Let's take a look:

The examples presented here include:

  1. F-15E, 91-0603, 494 FS/48 FW (yellow sqn), RAF Lakenheath, 2019
  2. F-15E, 97-0219, 492 FS/48 FW (red sqn), RAF Lakenheath, 2019
  3. F-15C, 84-0010, 493 FS/48 FW (blue sqn), RAF Lakenheath, 2019
  4. F-15E, 87-0173, 389 FS/366 FW (yellow sqn), Mountain Home AFB, 2018

The decals are printed by Cartograf and look fantastic. This set provides markings for the four aircraft options, with stenciling to support at least two models. The set is designed to work best with the Great Wall Hobby F-15C/E kits.

My sincere thanks to Furball Aero-Design for this review sample!
