First Look
Eduard is a very prolific aftermarket hobby company based in the Czech Republic that produces a wide range of kits and detail sets for the advanced scale modeler. Eduard has extended that production into the decal market and here is one of their latest releases. This is a set of airframe maintenance stencils found on the MiG-21MF and MiG-21MFN in Czech Air Force service and previously released in Eduard's 1/48th scale MiG-21MF/MFN kit special. This set provides those modelers that have other Eduard (or other manufacturers') MiG-21MF kits with the distinctive maintenance stenciling lettered in Czech versus the Cyrillic found in kits of Soviet subjects.
The instructions provide detailed placement instructions for each stencil and as you can see in the diagram and decal sheet, there are quite a few to be placed on the standard MiG-21. This set just makes that job much easier as the instruction sheet also provides left/right side views on the other side of the instruction sheet.
