First Look
DXM Decal is a decal company out of Taipei, Taiwan that produces a very nice line of aftermarket subjects. In this release, they feature the 40th Anniversary of JASDF 301 Squadron as carried by an F-4EJ Kai Phantom II. Hasegawa released this subject in one of their 1/72 scale reissues (02079) but here are some nice decal alternatives if you're not happy with the kit decals or you want to render this scheme with an F-4EJ Kai that doesn't have this scheme as an option.
The example presented here:
- F-4EJ Kai, 77-8389, JASDF, 301 Sq, JASDF, 40th Anniversary Scheme
The golden decals are magnificent and that dark blue sunburst on the decal sheet is actually the lighter color on the tail of that Phantom. This set will create a stunning model for your next contest entry!

My sincere thanks to DXM Decal for this review sample!
