First Look
Here is one of a new series of decals from Caracal Models - the Basics. This release is a utility set that allows you to replicate the serial and buzz numbers for up to three F-86 Sabres. The set includes three sets of the FU buzz number prefix assigned to the F-86 series as well as an ample supply of numbers for the last three digits of the aircraft's serial number that goes into the buzz number. The set also includes the U.S.Air Force script that goes on the tail along with the full serial number of the aircraft, again with sufficient markings for three aircraft.
If you're modeling an F-86 out of the same squadron as the decals you've got, but want to replicate a different aircraft than those decals provide, this set will give you the markings you need to get that job done.
