First Look
Here is the latest release from Caracal Models, this time to provide some interesting options for Minicraft's outstanding PBM-5/5A Mariner kits. The aircraft presented in this set include:
- PBM-5T, 84780, 108, ATU-501, NAS Corpus Christi, 1955
- PBM-5A, 122079, US Navy Academy, Annapolis, 1953
- PBM-5, 84682, BA/1, VP-47, 1951
- PBM-5A, 122602, -/602, VR-21, NAF Oppama, 1950
The markings are nicely printed (of course, they're from Cartograf) and provide sufficient markings for one subject. The decals are all single-layer - none of them require you to stack one decal atop another to recreate complex art as with some other decal manufacturers.
