First Look
Here is one of the latest releases from Caracal, this set provides a nice selection of QF-4B Phantoms for the Hasegawa, Academy, or Z-M 1/48 F-4B kits. All of the decals are printed single layer by Cartograf and the printing looks great as usual. Note: if you don't want to do one of the great pumpkin drones, the shields and tail artwork were common with other test aircraft such as the NF-4 or even the F-14A/AIM-120 test birds.
The aircraft presented in this set include:
- QF-4B, 149466, Naval Air Development Center, -/-, NAF Warminster, 1972
- QF-4B, 148365, Naval Missile Center, -/40, NAS Point Mugu, 1972
- QF-4B, 148386, Naval Air Development Center, -/94, NAF Warminster, 1977
- QF-4B, 148393, Pacific Missile Test Center, -/47, NAS Point Mugu, 1978
