First Look
Here is the latest release from Caracal Models, this time to provide three distinctive options for the Kitty Hawk 1/48 F-94C Starfire kit. The three aircraft presented in this set include:
- F-94C, 51-13555, 27 FIS, Griffiss AFB, NY, 1955
- F-94C, 51-5607, 354 FIS, Oxnard AFB, CA, 1953
- F-94C, 51-13548, 29 FIS, Great Falls AFB, MT, 1956
The markings are nicely printed by Cartograf and provide national markings, distinctive unit markings, as well as aircraft identification markings, right down to correct data blocks. The decals are all single-layer - none of them require you to stack one decal atop another to recreate complex art as with some other decal manufacturers.
