First Look
Here is the latest release from Caracal Models, this time to provide some colorful options for the Monogram 1/48 F-102A Delta Dagger. The aircraft presented in this set include:
- F-102A, 54-1373, 199 FIS/HI ANG
- F-102A, 56-1188, 111 FIS/TX ANG
- F-102A, 56-1476, 146 FIS/PA ANG
- F-102A, 56-1263, 190 FIS/ID ANG
The first three subjects are wearing distinctive markings over ADC gray while the ID ANG F-102A is painted in Southeast Asia camouflage and carries those sharkmouth markings. In all, there are some nice subjects in this set and you have enough markings to render both the ID ANG and one of the other three aircraft (if you can get the ANG markings out of another decal sheet). This set is printed by Cartograph and the decals are all single-layer - none of them require you to stack one decal atop another to recreate complex art as some other decal manufacturers.

My sincere thanks to Caracal Models for this review sample!
