First Look
Here is the latest release from Caracal Models, this time to provide some interesting options for the classic Monogram 1/48 F-101B kit. Here are some really interesting squadrons that have colorful markings from the Air National Guard units that provided air defense protection for the northwest and northeast US.
The three aircraft presented in this set include:
- F-101B, 58-0306, 132 FIS/ME ANG
- F-101B, 58-0339, 123 FIS/OR ANG
- F-101B, 57-0300, 116 FS/WA ANG
The markings are sharp and in perfect register and the decals are printed by Catrograf. This set provides some nice alternative markings to the Monogram kit and provide some nice incentive to dust off one of those kits you have on your shelf.
