First Look
Here is a new decal release from Caracal Models, this time to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the 149th Fighter Wing of Texas ANG. The aircraft presented in this set:
- F-16C-30F-CF, 87-0255, 149 FW/TX ANG, 2011, Wing CC's aircraft
The markings are sharp and in perfect register. The decals are printed by Microscale. They provide the distinctive aiframe markings, stencils, and additional markings for the external tanks and baggage pod. The markings were designed to fit the Tamiya F-16C and note that this aircraft is fitted with the MCID (big mouth) inlet.
While you will have to mask and paint the red, white, and blue areas (in addition to the basic airframe two-gray camouflage), the low price of this set will make this project a definite bargain!

My sincere thanks to Caracal Models for this review sample!
