Begemot Decals is a decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Soviet and Russian aircraft. In this release, Begemot provides a nice selecton of post-war Lavochkin fighters that served in Soviet, Romanian, Chinese, North Korean, and Indonesian air arms. This set is designed for the MPM (or your favorite) 1/72 La-9 and La-11 kits. Let's take a look:

The instructions provide color profiles of each subject with color information and decal placement. 28 marking options are provided for:

1. La-9, Soviet Air Force
2. La-9, Romanian Air Force
3. La-11, Soviet Air Force
4. La-11, PLAAF
5. La-11, North Korean Air Foce
6. La-11, Indonesian Air Force

This set is provided on two sheets and provides several examples for each variant. In all, this decal set has 28 different examples, and as you can see, there are sufficient markings to replicate nearly all of them. This set will easily work with your favorite La-9 and La-11 kits in 1/72 scale. Pricing and availability information is not yet available, but since this set is officially released, it won't be long before you can get a set of your own.
