First Look
Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Russian-built aircraft. In this release, they've provided a utility set of stenciling for modern Russian Naval Aviation subjects.
This set provides generic tail numbers (RF-nnnnn) in a variety of sizes as well as in black or white lettering. Recall that UK tail numbers start with G, US tail numers with N, German tail numbers with D, and Russian Federation numbers with RF-. These markings alone are useful for any modern Russian aircraft subject. In addition, this set includes the markings (transliterated) MA- VMF ROSSII which signifies the aircraft is assigned to Naval Aviation - Russian Navy. These markings will provide a useful alternative to the VVS (Air Force) subjects as many of the bombers, fighters, and support aircraft are also assigned to Naval Aviation.

My sincere thanks to Begemot Decals for this review sample!
